The BALUN Series of AES/EBU Impedance Matching Transformers enable seamless conversion between 110-ohm balanced and 75-ohm unbalanced digital audio interfaces, compliant with AES3 (AES/EBU) and AES3-id standards. It ensures minimal jitter, low signal degradation, and high reliability in professional audio applications. The 1 RU panels offer high density XLR versions with either 16 Male, 16 Female or 8 Male + 8 Female connectors to 16 BNC connectors. These are easy to integrate with pre-made XLR cables. For maximum flexibility non gender-specific 3-Pin terminal block versions are available. The BALUN 16-TB with 16 terminal blocks to 16 BNC’s and the ultra high density BALUN-32TB providing 32 BALUNS in 1 RU of space. The BALUN Series has reversible rack ears that also allow for the panel to be recessed providing even more flexibility for systems integration. All BALUN Series panels use high quality components and are manufactured in the USA.
