DTV-200 Series of
Serial Digital Video Distribution for DTV

  • An economical solution for the coaxial and fiber optic transport and distribution of virtually any digital signal from DC to 1.5 Gbps.
  • Supported standards include SMPTE 259M Serial Digital Interfaces (SDI), 4:2:2 Component and Wide Screen, 540Mbps 4:4:4:4, Sonet/SDH and ATM.
  • Mix and match analog and digital distribution and fiber optic transport in the same tray. Cards are available for the
    UTIL-200 and UTIL-200-FIBER Utility Trays.
  • The standard power supply PS-200-AC has a universal input voltage range from 85 to 265 VAC. No need to set voltage selector switches; simply plug in and forget. The 48 VDC power supply PS-200-48VDC has an input voltage range from 36 to 60 VDC. Ideal for Telephone Company central office applications.
  • Two redundant power supplies with external alarm relay contacts and front panel LED indicators for each power supply are included.

  • Supported standards include SMPTE 259M Serial Digital Interfaces (SDI), 4:2:2 Component, DVB-ASI (270Mb/s), Sonet/SDH and ATM. Models DTV-220 and DTV230.

  • Jitter less than 130psec peak-peak at 270 Mbps.

    DV-1394

    Firewire, IEEE 1394A/B, Fiber Optic Transport

    • The DV1394 system provides high quality transmission of compressed video over long distances conforming to the Firewire IEEE 1394A/B protocol.
    • Using a IEEE 1394 PHY and an optical transceiver, the DV1394 is capable of sending IEEE 1394 Firewire signals across a fiber optic cable up to 1 KM.
    • Multimode and Singlemode system are available for ONE and TWO fibers with LC or MTRJ connectors.
    • Adapters for ST, FC and SC connectors are available.
    • Full duplex data is supported at 100 and 200 Mbps. 400 Mbps support available soon.
