DTV–120, DTV–130 – End of Product Life:
Replaced by HD–1500
MultiDyne’s DTV–120, the multimode, 400 MB/s SDI Fiber Optic Transport (stand–alone module), and the DTV–130, singlemode, 400 MB/s SDI Fiber Optic Transport (stand–alone module), have reached the End of Product Life stage due to an inability to continue procuring certain parts. The DTV–225, and the DTV235, the frame–based SDI card solution are still viable at this point, so you may continue to procure this solution.
The HD–1500 will serve as the SDI–HD current product, providing an economical solution for the fiber optic transport and distribution of virtually any digital signal from 5 Mb/s to 1.5 Gb/s. (The HD–3000 handles 5MB to 3Gb). The price for the HD–1500 has recently been reduced to a LIST of $995, and although it is $200 more than the DTV120 & DTV130, this product is a very price competitive, suitable solution for your SDI requirements. Most customers will be looking for the future–proof solution to cover at least the 1.5Gb/s HD rate, so the HD–1500 becomes a flagship product. MultiDyne has sufficient stock for this product and will maintain inventory to support your efforts in the field. A key incentive to remember is the 7–year warranty!
